Error when open document in local with “Linked Document Cannot Be Found In The View.”
Some how when user use local replica and have issue in replica database and make user can’t open document with error
“Linked Document Cannot Be Found In The View.”
Full Error Message:Â
“The Linked Document cannot be found in the view when replying to an email”
I think this issue cause replica database have some issue and I found some solution can resolve this issue below.
Suggested Solution
1. It casue Replica of database not updated. If user has multi replica icons on the laptop then please check if these are
updated or remove them. After that replicate it back again.
2. If solution1 not work, Close Lotus Notes
Search for and delete cache.ndk
Reopen Lotus Notes
Then open the bookmark.nsf local by performing the following steps:
From the Workspace, highlight the Bookmarks (6) on Local icon.
Hold down the SHIFT and CTRL keys and then right-click, continue holding down the SHIFT and CTRL keys and select “Database “, then Go to…” and the following window will appear.
Click on “ByURL” and click OK. This is showing the hidden view of the “(ByURL)”.
After clicking OK, the following view appears. Click Edit> Select All
Delete all of the documents and close the bookmarks (6) on Local database.
Close Lotus Notes and re-open.
User should no longer receive this error message.
